Ideally, you’re supposed to do your pledge drive shows as something that represents how your program usually goes and what makes it worth donating to. We didn’t do that. We were already scheduled to play tunes at the Uptown VFW’s Tuesday Night Music Club, so we set our sights on pretending that we were regular ol’ club DJs. You’ll hear the first 2 or so hours of that on this podcast.
We did more though! Do you want to hear it? Why, that’s easily done! Pledge your support to the station at any level whatsoever (every dollar counts) and we’ll send you the whole thing. Send a screenshot of your confirmed pledge to ben@belowthewaste dot org and he’ll send it to you. Otherwise, we’d have to wait until they add up all the pledges over at KFAI headquarters.
A pledge at the $70 level will get you a personalized 2-hour mix by either Ben or Mason (your choice.) New or renewed Auto Club pledges will get a 2-hour mix from each of us. They’ll be lovingly packaged in a 2-disc set with handmade artwork. That’s art, people!
